I posted this in my build thread, but figured it may be something people looking in the stereo section would like to see, so here is a video of my hidden stereo build.

I like how you set that up! What paint did you use? Where did you get the paint?

It is from Duplicolor. They have the stock colors for GM (this one is Cordova Brown). Ordered it at O'Reilly's. It looks good for stuff like this. Definitely not an exact match, but then again, the other paint is 46 years old, so matching that with new paint perfectly is impossible. Since it was entirely new pieces, it ends up looking totally stock in color because I am not blending it with current paint.
Pretty snazzy set up sir.
Good work on making it stealthy.
That was the goal. It works great and sounds awesome. Love jamming out to Waylon Jennings 8 tracks with my 3 little boys in the car and a subwoofer helping haha! Just feels like the 70's.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to copy you, lol. That's really slick!

My '78 Suburban came with an AM/FM 8-track player, it worked but the tuner didn't match up with the dial at all. So I found a '90-ish Sony digital tuned knob radio to put in it's place. Well that radio crapped out a couple years ago. I've been driving around with no tunes ever since, because I was unsure what direction to go. Looks like I'm going to learn how to fix that 8-track radio.

You can pick up the Delco 8 tracks for under $50 on eBay. That is what I did. If you have any questions, let me know. I love how it works. Sounds so nice.

Double thumbs up for Waylon!
Heck yeah. I have about 10 different Waylon 8 tracks. He is my favorite. I also picked up 3 Willie 8 tracks on eBay today. All still in their original wrapping and sealed. Super excited to get those in.
