The depth would never be an issue - but the rounded corners touching the edges of mega-magnets could be. I saw a 4" speaker high up in the B-pillar once - looked almost factory. Might be a way to put components between the cab corner and the B-pillar.

The magnet size is determined by power handling and magnet type. If you aren't planning on using an amplifier then a bigger magnet will just take away from the sound as you won't have enough power to run the speakers correctly.
If you are planning to run an amp then I usually do like 45tt and build a basic speaker pod out of 2 pieces of wood that fits what you are installing and cover it with matching carpet.
it shouldn't be much at all like under $20 to build both speaker pods.
Feel free to ask if you need any more help. I have been an audio installer for almost 30 yrs and have 2 Squares plus built 15 or so nice Square trucks.
This is the only one on this computer but it came out nice even before paint.

Are you guys running amps or not?
I'm running 2 Alpine 2 channel amps that I bought new in 1989. 1 for the front speakers, and 1 for the rear. Plus a cheap Kenwood 2 channel amp, bridged, for a single 10" Subwoofer.

I'm not into thumpin, but using a sub helps keep the other 4 speakers more bright sounding.

TPI-C10... do you exactly what series RF the speakers are ? Rockford offer 5 different 6×9 speakers. Some are more shallower than others as some sound better than others

How bad does putting the 6x9’s in the corners behind the seat drown out the sound?

not that I spend a lot on sound or is it as loud as some of the stuff above, but I currently have JBL 4x6 (cab corners) with a 90's kenwood sub behind the seat. Plenty loud for me and sounds good. Upgrading to 6.5 component in the corners in the next day or so. Can hear the high/mid/lows just fine currently. Obviously if you want the highs in your face, then move the tweeters.

Then again, my level of good is probably lower than yours. Keep reading lol.
