I just came across this poor car on CL. It's darn near a spittin' image... other than being plowed in the rear of course.

I'm into them, but truth be told, I found that one on accident while looking for a cheap front drive GM car. I'm pretty well set on parts for my '79, just need time to put all the work into it. I'll let you know if I think of something though

I couldn't decide if that was an outrageous price or not. Yeah, the body is wasted, but it's a clean car otherwise. I'd bet that if a clean shell could be found, you could swap everything over to the donor body in a couple weekends and come out ahead.

Oh yeah, they are distinctly Chevy and look good. Lotsa other good stuff in great condition too. I'd offer the guy 4 roller tires and wheels+ cash rather than buying it whole and parting it out.
