Posting here hoping someone can give me a bit of advice.

Here's the rundown: 1984 k10 with 305V8, 700R4 and NP208. Dakota digital install went decent, I have coolant and voltage (reads 15-16 running which seems high but can come down to 12-13).

Fuel didnt read anything initially, figured out I wired in the wrong pink wire (PIN 18), and now it reads 94/95 OHMs, I believe my tank is full but going to the gas station tonight to verify. It should read 90 at full and 0 when empty. Is my sender bad? I cleaned the grounds around the tank but did not run a dedicated ground from the tank to the gauge. Thats my next step if the sender is bad and I need to pull it anyway.

Oil is pegged at 50psi at idle, but goes up and down with RPMs. Seems to be a bad ground, i needed to use another wire to the boxs general ground. Wondering if the wires are broken, or a bad sensor/plug.

Speedo is unresponsive but has 5v to the control box.

DD support has been pretty useless.

I’d say try what you yourself have suggested and maybe check to see if you have a folded pin

My DD install was pretty easy. You need a multimeter and a basic understanding of electricity. Probe each pin for each function.

I'm assuming you used the DD oil pressure sending unit not the existing one

The sending unit has a single black wire that grounds to the inside of the frame near the gas tanks (uses a bolt with a star washer - make sure you grind or sand the frame under it to bright metal). That should be the only ground you need for for the gauge.

You also have to pick the correct sending unit output in the menu in the gauges.

As mentioned, make sure you choose the correct sending unit through the set up for each gauge or the won't work properly.

My fuel reading is wonky as well - as mentioned in my thread. I think 75gmck25 is on to the answer for me and the ground. I may not have cleaned it when I put the wiring back together.

First, thanks to @Soundmound for posting the pic I took this snip from!! I hope you don't mind I borrowed it for my question that I think is hauntin me and @Ifyasquintitsmint

Is this wire (the one so professionally highlighted) the wire for the fuel sending unit? If so, does it ground directly to the sneding unit?

Just to update, I had to wire in an additional ground to a few sensors. They must not have been grounded properly. Got everything to work properly by adding a ground wire on oil/fuel to the general ground.
Oil PSI is either 20/40 at idle which is obviously wrong but does go up according to RPMs so its okayish for now.
Water is now pegged at full but was properly working the other day.

Going to pull everything and sort out the grounds.
