Never heard of a chevy wrangler, only that it's Canadian. Is the 6.2 diesel engine any good? I'm guessing it's not, probably the ones built for fuel economy. Anyway any info on the quality of engine or truck itself or opinions you'd be appreciated. I included a Pic of the ad itself.

Some people love them, rest of us hate them. Ones I've been around were dogs, that's just my opinion. Not a big deal to drop a 350 in it though. Talking about the 6.2 btw.

I worked on the military version on HMMWV's and the best I could describe them is "adequate". They were mostly reliable, but barely enough power to get out of their own way.

They get decent mileage, but that year would likely have some of the worst year of 700R4 behind it also... so there is that.

My buddy had a CUCV blazer with the 6.2 and it would barely hold 45 up the climb from Phoenix to Prescott. He did heads and a turbo kit on it and that helped 1000%.

Hahaha that's what I was thinking. I'm waiting till spring to swap my 400 with a 454 in my 76. Was thinking of buying another truck for the times in-between. Definitely don't want another engine swap at the moment. Thanks ah bunch for the information, yall are awesome on this site.
