Usually any truck with a diesel engine, 1 tons, ASTRO vans. 98-04 mustangs had it too.

There are internal, hose fitting differences and possibly different design [length and style] pushrods. If this is a conversion main thing would be the pushrod.

The base GM brakes are a good design with decent assist. Personally, wouldn't poke the bear adding Hydro boost. Adds complexity and numerous places for leaks.

I took mine off a 1980 1 Ton for my 1981 C20. Used the rod that was in the donor unit.

I have an '04 Yukon Denali with Hydroboost, I planned on swapping onto my '87 unless someone has good reason why those wouldn't be good donors. I think Escalades of a similar year had it too, but my '13 Denali has conventional vac system.

Check out my build on page 11. I tried adapting a few different hydraboosts. I settled on one out of a 2001+ and the corresponding master.
