That blue truck could be $7k here if it’s daily drivable.

This one of the cab mount on that truck is pretty common for here. That Dakota that I'm working on right now is actually much worse than this.

1974 GMC Jimmy full fiberglass top. Has been in storage, out of the weather, inside a dry garage since 1979. White with factory softray tinted glass and bright window gasket beadlock.

Very dusty, but no damage, so what's it worth?

I'd say between $1500 and 1K low. You won't find many around and fixin' them is next to impossible.

I don't even have a Jimmy/Blazer(yet ) and I know this is a "must buy" for someone. Hell, I'm tempted to buy it lol. Better ROI than most things these days!

Go in with an offer of $750. He can only say no. As you make the offer, make sure he can see the $100 bills in a bank envelope, It's amazing what a stack of $100 bills will do to a guy!

Just to be clear, I am not looking to buy. Over 40 years ago I had a chance to buy a second fiberglass top for my 1974, long story. A guy I meet at Carlisle truck show this past August was asking if I knew of any tops for sale.

This thing is buried in my garage and this guy wants it bad. He's ready to bring help to get it out. I do know he drove hours to buy a top for his truck and paid $600 for a top that he is just not happy with. He wants something better.

Like @Snoots stated there aren't many around in this condition for sale. I believe now is the time to bring this top out to the sunlight. Thanks again for the replies!

I have a friend out in Cali. Just sold one to a guy that had been looking for 4 years. He got 2800, and it wasn't in that good of shape. Granted that is Cali prices. The 73 to mid 75 tops are like hens teeth to find. I wouldn't take anything less that 2k.

Yeah, stuff like that is like having gold in your pocket. I have a '68 Dana 60 that came with 3.54 gears from a C20 Suburban. They had specific drivetrain of 396/TH400/3.54 D60. A few years ago I discovered they sell for over 1k. Talked to a guy from the San Diego area that sold one he had for $1,100 and the guy that bought it flew in from Florida and rented a truck to drive it back to FL. I bet they are closer to 2k now.

What’s an original Beau James worth?
This is the worst side. Other side ain’t even banged up.
Running, driving all original all there, decent interior hard parts IE dash/radio/door panels/steering wheel etc look very serviceable.
