Inner Fender Black Paint Question

Getting down to the final items on my '91 V-1500 Suburban restoration. What is everyone's opinion on the type of black paint to use on the inner fender wells: gloss, satin, or flat?

I like the bedlined or undercoated look in the wheel wells. Mine are currently satin black until a do a full paint job.

Used this for some touchups when I replaced the battery tray. Looks real good and close to factory if you asked me.

SEM brand "Trim Black" is what I prefer. It's a good overall match to the eggshell black that GM used over the decades.

I went with Satin Black for my wheel wells. I would guess that it would be difficult to tell the difference between flat, satin and semi-gloss.

SEM trim black, trim black ultra supposed to be a little glossier. Mine seems to be on the glossier side stock.

For satin black rattle can type paint I like the VHT Roll Bar and Chassis paint. It’s some of the best covering rattle can paint I’ve ever used

This paint on the core support is supposed to be like not quite full gloss chassis paint. Direct to rust or metal capable supposedly. I’ve used it on chassis, fender wells, even the wing windows. (I used it as a base coat and cleared over it on the window frames as idk how UV resistant it is)

I used Dupli-Color rocker guard on my inner finders. It's not as rough as bed liner and still seems to be fairly impact resistant.

For the amount of time you have removing, screwing around, sanding, and painting, I thought it was more cost and time effective to just take them to a powdercoater. They came out far nicer than I could have ever sprayed and far more durable.

Agree, but my paint shop is doing the actual spray job, and we're trying to get back to close to original as we can.

Sports cars? If you know of anyone looking to sell a Triumph TR-3, pls let me know. I have a hankering to drag my knuckles one more time.
