Are you going to be using a relay kit to power the fans?

I would run relays and fuses straight from the battery. Our trucks are really equipped with big enough wires to hold up to dual electric fans.

On mine what I did was power from battery to relay. Then I have a thermo sensor for one fan that give the relay ground and the other one runs off a switch for backup. I'm using a Ford windstar fans.

You definitely want to use relays or an integrated fan controller ( which has relays in it) connected directly to your battery. If you just buy your own relays, make sure you use a fuse or fusible link where you connect to the battery. Then provide power to the controller (or relays) with an ignition-on power source. I’m sure you can find a wiring diagram with a quick internet search.

My ‘75 K25 has an ignition-on brown wire coming out of the harness in direction of the driver’s side fender. It was originally designed to activate a relay for the dual battery in my camper special. If you have a similar wire it would work to turn on your fan controller.

I have the whole harness with all the relays that came with the Entopy Radiator . I just have a set of wires that need to go to "power while running". (image attached.. Wire reference in the red Box)

A quick search online to locate a wiring diagram will take some of the mystery out of the adventure, and give you options on which wires are hot when Ignition is on.

Thanks man... I've done a ton of searching and not finding much.. the fun of building custom i guess... even the GM techs can't help because their computers won't tell them.. they're as frustrated as I am. As I spent a bunch of money on a brand new Crate motor from GM.. which has been a great customer service experience as far as I'm concerned.. But still looking for answers. 1st build.. I have no clue what im doing
.. LOL

What year is your truck? Going by your diagram you got you just need switch power which is not a lot so here is a option for you.

If you have a msd coil or super coil of any sorts run another wire from your battery to a relay and run it to your coil and use that wire that went to your coil for power to your 3 relays. It takes a lot of stress off the ignition switch running your coil off a relay then just the steering column switch. And the coil gets better power
