Changed the torsion springs for the trunk, that was a pain.

Took it out for a drive yesterday. For some reason it has developed a hard starting issue, got 65 psi at the throttle body but it's not priming, once it starts it runs fine. Damn fitech, probably should have went with holley.

I just read the full thread. B*****N CAMARO! Good luck with the FI. Shoulda left it carbureted IMO, but it doesn't really matter. I have a '79 Camaro that I love. Your Z makes me want to clone mine. I have most of the parts, just not the time or ambition at the moment.

I own an 80 Z28 also. It’s an automatic car. I also own a 1991 Z28 a 1998 Z28 an a 1978 RS/LT. I sold both of my 1973 Z28’s and wish I hadn’t. The big Camaro Rally is going on this weekend here in Sturgis South Dakota. Started on the 23rd. We usually take out one of our cars and go cruise it for a couple of days. Lots of nice old rides came in from all over this year. Saw them all over the Hotel parking lots. Should be fun. VERY nice job you did on your car sir. You definitely have mad skills. Kudos.

what are you using for a fuel pump to feed the system? Could have a faulty regulator that's allowing fuel drain back and the initial key cycle isn't enough to reprime all the way to the unit.?
