Anyone know what these sensor ports are for? On both sides - my guess is the driver's side is a temp gauge - the other side.......for a fan? Dunno.

Heads use the same casting on both sides... Use one for a temp sending unit & plug the other typically but you can add a second temp sender to activate a fan or something else.

Drivers side gets the coolant temp sensor. Passenger side gets a plug, or in my case a thermal switch to engage my electric cooling fan.

My pass side is the same as Bextreme04. Sensor for the OEM electric fan.

Interesting, I was wondering myself.
So if drivers side is temp, and passenger side is sensor for oem electric metal fan...
What is the sensor, on front of intake? I thought that was coolant temp sensor.
