I added some cool lights today. Hopefully i can see better at night. Don't want to blind anyone, but i need more light right in front down low.

awesome. I have a similar setup with Diode Dynamics wide ss6 fog lights on my 1990 burb. what lights did you add? the LMC conversion kit for headlights is good also, and is even better with a little trimming of the bottom of the headlight bucket to fot 9012 bulbs.

So the bed went on and we are in the final stretch! Got a nice compliment today from the mechanic that is putting the lift kit on. Body shop owner dropped it off last night with my number taped to the steering wheel if he had any Q's. He called me this morning and said " She's ucking gorgeous! "
It makes all the work feel better. lol

Hi,I added the lower lights, also cut some holes to match the shape of the lenses(sorta). The bottom lights are for a 2006ish Tahoe/yukon i bought off amazon. I like them alot so far, i just hope they last awhile.
The headlight lenses and wiring are from LMC, and the headlight bulbs are LED's from extreme LED. Way better lighting and most importantly they look cool.

Looks great!
I've also thought it would be cool to get a 1981 bumper with the cutouts for the turn signals, to mount a set of lights in.

got the windshield cowling back on,blew out the windshield washer lines, built a transmission pan drain plug to weld on after I drain the tranny. Just gonna drill a hole in the pan (very carefully) then remove and weld it in!! no sense making a big mess!!

I have been fighting some ignition problems and I have replaced the Ignition Control Module 3 different times in less than a month. I finally decided to replace the distributor. I am Very Happy to say that fixed it. I have more power, the exhaust sounds a LOT better and it is no longer missing and stumbling under acceleration. I had to go see Dear Old Dad to borrow his timing light and I rather enjoyed using that old dinosaur.

The contacts in the AC Delco cap are significantly thicker than the cap that came with the new distributor so I went with that cap.

This Chrome Dinosaur still works!

Since my '87 is TBI you have to unplug a Special Super Secret Wire before setting the timing. On my Truck it is located next to the steering column, below the brake booster.

Well finally got the wife redoing my seat .. she is always busy doing her job of Restaraunt upholstery, my seat doesn’t pay any bills ! So my patients is paying off! No excuse on my end of why I’ve not gotten the old carpet out or sound deadner installed in the floor , I pulled the seat out of the truck in June of 2021.
My passenger side of the seat , where it rips forward the arm was rusted into . The foam was great. But I found a replacement seat complete for 70 bucks .. I jumped all over it . So this is where I am with the seat it’s all sewed up just about . Will post pics later of the finished product .. wife asked me 5 times if I am happy !! Why heck yes I am !!!

I washed my truck, it gets done once a year whether or not it needs it.
Living off grid and having to haul my water, it's a real treat to have a clean truck.
Shame it won't stay that way for long with these dusty "roads".
