Hello. My slider on my climate control
Does not line up with what it actually is. It seems to be one off so it can never get to defrost. Everything else works just not on the correct spot on the slider. But no defrost. Is it possible to realign this so I can have defrost?

most likely somebody put the vac lines on the wrong ports (off by 1) on the back of the controls.

If that is the case, someone must have cut off the solid rubber end and then installed the vacuum lines individually.

Ok I have it out and will look at that. Thank you. I did change the heater core is it possible that the fittings and adjusters on top of the box are one off? I just purchased the truck and honestly can’t remember if the frost worked before I did the heater core or not

When I changed out my heater core last year. There’s two vacuum lines that go to the heater box. I had em on backwards so the controls didn’t work right. Had to take the heater box all lose to get em changed back.
