Im thinking of buying a set of bfg km2s they r 305/70/17 and with those i want to buy a set of mickey thompson 17x9 wheels with a 0 offset and a 5 inch backspacing. I know they will fit what im wondering is if the wheels and tires will look good on a 77 k20 with 4inches of lift. I tried the tires on my truck with a dodge stock wheel and the offset made the tires sunk too far into the wheel well. If anyone has put this size on a truck like mine if u have pics would be much apprieciated.

Doubt you will hear back- that was a post from 9 years ago and the poster hasn't been back in 8 years.

Although the wheels would probably fit I'd think it is better to stick to roughly around 4" of backspacing.

The closest wheel I can think of for you to compare is the old Hummer H2 wheels.
They were 17x8.5 and had a 5.5" backspace. I've seen several run those on squarebodies.

OP has pictures in his gallery which appear to already have the wheels mounted. Could use a little offset, IMO they stick out a little far and something looks off to me, but that's just me. (hah could just be that he never put the side mouldings back on after paint, to me that always produces a weird "somethin ain't right" look with that kind of two tone) See for yourself and decide if you think it's the look you're going for
