Ok I officially did the L480e with NP241 tease.

I need a crossmember or transmission support. the old one does not fit and sits in front of the front output shaft.

I have tried a aftermarket 2wd and it still does not fit.

the transmission Is a 1995 l480e out of a suburban and the T case is our of a 1991 suburban. they are installed and In I just can't find or figure out what to do with the crossmember or support.

You need an 85-up crossmember. You will also need to re-drill the crossmember holes in the frame to move the crossmember back the 1-2" that account for the longer 4l80 overall length. The 85-later crossmember will look like a "w". Since you are in Washington, I'd suggest hitting up one of the squarebody facebook groups like "PNW K5 and Squarebodies", Chad TheMan, or Mr. A's Chevy parts. The PNW squarebodies group is mostly in the seattle area but has members everywhere. Chad and Mr' A's are in the Vancouver and Sultan, Wa areas and are chevy scrap guys.

Some people install them like that in order to “improve driveline angle”, but you should really have the spacers on the bolt and let the crossmember sit flush to the frame. The spacers are to let the bolts get properly torqued, not to set the crossmember off from the frame.

The "W" should have room for exhaust but if not the other crossmember with a spacer will give you enough room for exhaust.

Here's my 4L60E on a 2"x2" square tubing spacer, there is also a 1/4" spacer above the trans mount

Looks good I put a 1 inch solid spacer across both sides and put the gram dampers on top all seems to be working fine.
