I TOOK THE COMPUTER OUT AND DONE AWAY WITH IT, I HAVE A VOLT METER THAT WORKS AND SPEEDO BUT NO TEMP OR OIL GAUGE. FUEL MOVES UP WHEN I PUT FUEL IN BUT DROPS BACK AFTER DRIVING A FEW MILES. DOES THE MISSING COMPUTER AFFECT THESE?

Ok, so first question, are you talking the ESC computer? or was this truck setup with a computer controlled carburetor?

The gauges you are having issues with should not be affected by the removal of either computer. However the ESC only computers are very simplistic, where as the CCC carb systems were more complicated. I would hit up the a wiring diagram and look to see if you might have inadvertently disconnected something that shouldn't have been such as a ground.

Welcome to the forum by the way. We'd all like to see pictures of your truck, we are big on pictures here.

Welcome from New Mexico.

I hate computers in cars, don't have a clue about them. Sorry.

Computers are for classrooms. I'll be ready for when Cyberdyne decides to take over the world.

May have a bad ground in the plastic circuit board. Temporarily fixed mine with a paper clip then just replaced the board. When things start acting funny it’s a bad ground a lot of the time
