My "big box" which is full...

My first boxes, top is an 84 Waterloo, bottom is a late 80s craftsman, neighbor was throwing these out and I scooped em up for free when I was 15 after asking his plans with them, new coat of paint and they work great, top is empty since I'm away from home, bottom holds all my welding stuff

Recently purchased this last time I was home, 45$ and locks were froze up, but guess what I found inside

Both work great!
And my recent resto box I picked up over the weekend, my friends dad was gonna scrap it so I asked and received a free box, I'd date it late 80's-really early 90's since it is stamped made in USA

I've got two 3 drawer craftsman boxes as well I work out of since my big box is in the kitchen [emoji16]
After school I will probably be picking up the harbor freight U.S. general 72" bottom and a 44" top so I have a little space to work
I just can't justify spending snap on prices for a metal box that holds metal

I've never really taken any pictures of it alone, but it is in the background in this picture. Just a Hobo Freight U.S General bottom and top chest, 44" i think? Hey, it opens, closes, holds tools and rolls around. What more could you need?

This 26x46 pair of Craftsman boxes was a Christmas gift from my parents in 1992 or 1993 and has proven to be all i've ever needed.

Had to major league crop that pic though, you muggs would have a field day lookin in the backgrounds.
I know who you are.

Holy **** batman! When did you take a picture of MY toolbox? How did you get in my garage? Lmao

Dude I've gotta take a picture of it when I get home. I have the exact box complete with the crow bar hanging from the front left corner. I'm not $hitting you either. That hilarious! You'll see later this evening.

Almost the same as @Rusty Nail box. I got mine in 92 I think and it's held up pretty good for 30 years old.

Also have my grampas old snap on boxes sitting on a cheap roller. The draws still are smooth and easy to open. Even though the boxes are Rusty af.

And this is the newest one. It's about 20 years old.

@nvrenuf

My home box is a Snap On KRL 1023 triple bank.

If you want 2 huge drawers look at the KRL 1022. It is the same dimension as my box, but the first 2 drawers go all the way across.

My box is also a limited run in color, it is a wrinkle finish box and the color is hammer blue, but the way snap on spells “hammer” on the box is spelled differently then how I spelled it, I just can’t remember how it’s spelled.

I remember buying that box like yesterday, I walked onto the truck and saw a little double roll cab in that color and my dealer said he had a bigger one I said I’ll take that, I told him I wanted a triple bank, and an hour later that showed up

@MrHorsepowerLSx ive always wanted a Snap On box but I don’t turn wrenches for a living so I can’t justify the cost.

@nvrenuf If you wrench for a living it is a nice investment to make and a sound piece of mind knowing that you can put ALOT of weight in the drawers without any worries of failures. I took a management position where I work so I no longer needed to keep my tools there. I must say it is quite nice have my “work box and tools” at home. I’ve have used lesser quality boxes at my house and they just don’t hold up to constant use, I’ve had a handful of snap on boxes. My very first box I still have is a small double bank, that’s at my parents house. My box has wrenches and sockets from as small as 9/32 to 3”. For the longest time I used 2x boxes, one was for auto and light duty autos and equipment, and the box pictured I had anything over 1” inside for the medium/heavy autos and equipment. Now it’s just kinda consolidated into one box
