Love your truck! I probably should have done a Cummins too, yours looks great. I'm going to paint mine the Camaro SS metallic dark blue from 2010, probably do the white stripes on the hood too.

I'm really not good at uploading photos. I'm having an issue with low voltage from the alternator - it seems to be going into limp mode when the voltage drops below 11.3V. Really worried that it's not the alternator but the ECU is not telling it to charge. Will pull the alt and test it unless someone knows how to test it in the truck. Have a Banks iDash for monitoring. Clearly computer stuff is not my thing.

Finally figured the charging issue. Was charging well this evening. Will see how it is in the AM. Progress!

Now runs/drives fine. Transmission is a bit jerky, but I think it needs time to lear the tune in the ECM.

what the hell are you talking about lol. What vehicle, what engine, can you make a new thread? This one is.. different than yours. unless you have a cummins swap...? If its a gm tbi truck its a lot different than 1973 and als oa lot different than LS 99+ controls

umm, this thread is about swapping a 2017 D-MAX L5P into a 1986 K-30. I started the thread with Squaremax L5P in the title. Where did tbi or 1973, LS etc. ever come into it?

I think @AuroraGirl girl meant to hit reply to blue84
He posted the cummins.
This new update is still giving some of us a hard time.

Trucks ( both ) look good.

that makes sense. I know what he meant now. This update is different I must say but I think it will be good long term ebecause it encourages topics to continue discussion rather than recent-based priority so it hopefully will help updates/collective knowledgee.

the only things left to lose are our chains, brothers
