Here’s a couple more shots, you can see all the bubbling on the door and the fender.

When I restored cars, I was always scouring the south for good cars, bods, etc. The clear was always shot - especially GA-FL. I preferred the NW cars (no salt or sun) but shipping killed.

Its all that wonderful sunshine you get. :hat:

Your truck looks great otherwise.

You ever have one of those days where you feel like someone just stabbed you in the eye with a needle?

So after getting a piece of metal in my eye while working on my sisters car, I went to the ER to get it checked out. They said that it was no big deal if it doesn't hurt real bad.

The doctor insisted on trying to take it out though, then he proceeded to accidently stab me in the eye with a needle.

Now I they want me to wear an eye patch and put drops in every hour for the next couple weeks.

So after a $750 deductible to get stabbed in the eye, Its 2 am, I don't have my glasses, I'm in a **** load of pain, and to top everything off, O'l Yeller won't turn over, the starter spun, but the solenoid didn't engage it.

So I had to roll start the damn thing, and drive home mostly blind.

Things could be worse though, I could get stabbed in the eye with a needle.

Sorry, I can't like this. I hate it that you got hurt and pray that you mend well and quick!

I started to take a "selfie" with your truck at the c10 get together. You were wandering around somewhere and I didn't get to see you. Did sound really good when you pulled in though

I just had one hell of a score at a local antique shop.

I found me some new hub caps for both my '86 and '74.

I also got O'l Yeller looking sharp after I found a nice set of parking lights.

Man, the price I paid for this stuff was insane, they were probably thinking I'd use these things as wall art.

I've seen a few sets around here pop up on facebook marketplace or craigslist for around $50 for the set. They usually sit around and no one buys them

Haha yeah it’s a bit warm down here. I’m ok with the paint having issues, I wanted a patina/flawed truck so I didn’t have to worry about it. Didn’t really want a cleared truck, but it was too good a truck to pass up. 150% rust free was the main selling point for me [emoji108]

I wanted to get with you. I wanted to ask about your console and see where you got it at and how you like it.

got drivers side door assembled. Dis-assembling passenger side now. The side philips screw started stripping out. Pulled out the 'ol hand impact driver and smacked it a few times and I'll be damned if she didn't turn.

Sweet!!! Be doing the vent window this weekend and possible the rest of the seals and reassembly with new door handle and window motor. Need to put some temp paint on the door also. Frig is full and I've got all the video's I need to remind me what the hell I'm doing lol.

It’s ok, better than nothing. The cupholders aren’t good for anything more than cans. But I take corners too fast for a bench seat, I needed something to lean on [emoji23] The Snowden one in the floor is better for actual cupholders
