These are Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. I believe they are the best since I've had them in my '74 C10 for the last 25 years and I'm getting ready to do it again. I went bumper to bumper including polyurethane dust boots on the ball joints and tie rod ends as well. It has saved my tie rod ends and ball joints from being destroyed from the road a long time ago. The tie rod ends are still tight because the urethane kept the dirt, dust, water, and grit out of them due to the fact urethane doesn't crack, split, or dry out like rubber. And these aren't the same at all like the one's I put in there 25 years ago. These are much, much improved over the old one's I put in my truck 25 years ago. These things should last even longer.

I've read that the black set is the one you want because it's a different/better material. Looking back I wish I'd known about the black. Read up on it and decide if you want to send that kit back and get the black kit.
