I bought this flexplate turning tool because I got tired of trying to turn it with a red rag and a big screw driver.

And since you're screwed if you drop something down on the engine, or the suspension or god forbid you drop a nut or bolt down in the engine. I've always wanted a pair of really long needle nose pliers so I got these at Harbor Freight.

I have vice grips, but I got brainy one day and bought this pair of fancy ass vice grips, one of those impulse tool urges. And even with the instructions I'm still having problems understanding how these dang things work. So they will sit in my tool box until the time comes that I figure out how to work them. But they look cool though, don't they?

So maybe thats a new tool? I just know all my drawers and shelves are about maxed out

We had to do some under the Sub work yesterday.
The wrong gasket was purchased at the parts place junior works at, so we made a trip.
I was looking at the little 3 ton jack stands under the thing and they just don't inspire confidence any more even thought we have done tons of work on them.

While up at the parts store I abused his good employee discount for a set of 6 ton jack stands.
I feel much better about things now....

Snap-on truck comes by on Monday’s, 333$ later I got me a set of metric 3/8 deep sockets in chrome to match my standard set...they happened to be a special this week so they came with a “free” snap-on sweeper + dustpan set lol

Went to HF and got a Bearing separator and puller set. Also a digital 1/2" drive touqe wrench.

It's range is 12.5 to 250 ft lbs. Also reads inch lbs/peak/angle.

I didn't think this would work, i'm suffering resistance tryin to grasp this thing started my car.
The Honda got her parking lights left on for a couple of hours and it wouldn't start.

Hooked up this thing and it jump started the car! I cranked with it no problem. I gambled with that thirty bucks and won.
Tiny thing is for charging cell phones? Same size. Charged it back up in the car and keep it in the glove box...you're really missin out maybe.

Yup! I need to carry one in the winter in case I kill the battery on my electric start only Snowbike in the backcountry.
Idk how many amps mine is but its of the $50 Amazon special variety.
I unhooked the battery cables on my 5.3L Chevy truck and it started it. Took a couple pulls to heat up the jump pack and then it worked.
