Scottsdale Wrangler

I have a C10 Scottsdale Wrangler 1985...
Is it normal the exterior emblem is a Wrangler on the fenders and hood ornament but in interior on the dash panel is the Scottsdale emblem
No Wrangler emblem in interior...

There is some info online about the history of this model. Pretty cool rare edition.

Not sure what your plans are for your truck, but based on the rarity of the model i’d recommend to keep it original as possible. Very cool truck!

I have a 86 Wrangler Package B.

I'm pretty sure that must be a replacement dash. Scottsdale is an mid level option package.

Wranglers aren't particularly rare in Canada but they are Canadian only trucks. So that being said they would be very rare compared to more common US models.

Do you have any pics of the original dash? If this one is a replacement then what was replaced? Since @Dumais Marco is saying his dash doesn't match the emblems on the outside it logical the interior would also be a wrangler interior, i.e. dash.

Okay, I just read the whole site on the GMC Wrangler and all the models that proceeded it. It was interesting all the custom models that GMC and Chevy came up with to take advantage of the young people back then to get them into the dealerships to buy a truck.
Go to: (you can type in '85 GMC Wrangler blah, blah and click on showing all pics and sites for '85 Wrangler) click on: "Gallery '85 GMC Wrangler". It'll be the history of all the special made trucks from '77 to '89 all the special order trucks like the Wrangler. Since of my age I remember seeing a lot of these trucks around town. For the '70's they were pretty cool. I stopped looking at trucks in the eighties like I had in years before. I was working to hard and trying to start a family to be concerned about what new pickups looked like, but I did notice one here and there every once in a while.

My truck is original except for the rear bumper was originally painted. This a a chrome LMC rear step bumper. I have also replaced the 305 with a 350 but kept it very stock looking. Just cleaned up a few vacuum lines and stuff.

All the badges are Wrangler badges. I don't have a close up picture of the dash badge but its the same just smaller.

This one is pretty well optioned with Air/tilt/cruise, Cassette radio, box rails, carpet floor, cloth headliner, intermittent wipers, rally wheels, power windows and locks, 5 color stripe decal with "W", leather wrapped steering wheel, side box tire carrier. I have all the option codes written out since my glove box sticker doesn't have descriptions for some reason.

Wranglers aren't custom manf. they were a discount option package for the Canadian market. Mostly the High Sierra options grouped together at a better price.
