I'll be damned.....that might be something easy to melt beer/soda cans and pour into a form. I've always wanted to melt aluminum but never did cuz I didn't know what to do with it afterwards lol.

local junkies like to make ingots out of brass, alum, copper, lead, and tin.

by time they sell their bounty they break even or maybe even just a tiny profit and its like christmas for em

@86454k30 That first picture looks vaguely familiar...:) I spent 5 years looking for those and finally found a NOS set on eBay. Every once in a while you see them on CL and once I've seen them on a truck on the Pick N Pull web site. Another search word to use is "Baja Proven." You will find a lot of other Cepek parts, but I found a match that way before. Good luck on the search.

FYI the Dick Cepek part number is #158.

Thank you, appreciate the info. I had a set bought off facebook a few months ago.....but the guys wife sold them to someone else after I sent the payment. Shady if you ask me. I got my money back but I wanted the step!
