I couldn't find the ac delco or a OEM replacement part anywhere for the wiper pulse module. it seems the inventory dried up. but I found the same ac delco part number (15598496) at workhorse parts for a GM based work van. took a chance and it is a direct replacement. just passing the info along. somebody correct me if I am wrong and the part is available more commonly.

I used that part for my '85 and it works with no issues. Here are a couple of other part numbers.

What exactly does this part do? I'm putting mine back together and notice the if I turn the stalk on/off the wipers just stop right where they are and do not go to the down/park position.

I believe the module is for the intermittent wipers. That could be the multi-function switch on the stalk causing that. I replaced mine and occasionally mine will do the same thing.

I think it for delay and parking functions. without it, you have lo and hi speed and have to time the shutoff to park them yourself.
