84 C10 Cab Mount Bushing Shim

My body mounting kit contains 4 shims 1/8" thick to sit atop the cab mount bushings.
My C10 did not have any shims from the factory.
Does this mean that I do not need to install them with the new bushings?

The only dumb question is one that is not asked....

Follow the directions of the body mounting kit. What kit did you get? Is it a factory replacement type, or something like energy suspension?

I ordered a body mounting kit from LMC (if I can say that)
Rubber bushings and loads of hardware.
No instructions included that I have seen.........

I called them and they don't know.....

Ronno6, how did you come out here? I replaced mine and put the shims back exactly as we took them out. Now after paint and putting it back together things are not lining up and I think its the shims. Thought you may have some ideas. I am about to post about our situation.
