I guess it's a new tool? My oldest daughter bought these for me a couple of Christmas's ago. She is always trying to find me something I don't have, or she thinks it will make my life easier...Love her to death for that, but she does buy somethings that I will never use. I don't want to tell her that, and hurt her feelings. This I never really gave it a chance, but actually works really well, and will be using more often...They are thread cleaners. SAE, and Metric. There is a little wire wheel in the center, I use my cordless impact...and just run it in, and reverse it out. You can hold it in your hand, or like I do...put it in my vice. Doesn't make them pretty, but cleans up the threads like a new bolt.

That's nice! I'm going to have to get those. Sure would beat chasing down bolts that the wire wheel grabbed and threw (some I haven't found yet).

EDIT: OUCH! $25 for each!?

425 shipped...it was on sale. It has cut everything I have put under it, fast and cool to the touch, and the blades are supposed to last 10x longer than the other type.

I got it from TrickTools.com

I've been needing a chop saw for a while, you have me pretty well talked into this one.

After using metal cutting blades in a circular saw, it has me really wanting to get away from an abrasive chop saw.

I know it's a bit pricey, but I have been wanting a good dependable chop saw that doesn't take up much room...You'll like it if you get one...:waytogo::waytogo:

I think they are cheaper other places if you hunt around...I don't see my daughter (She has my wife's frugalness in her DNA) LOL spending 25 each on those.

I bought one of these today. I have needed a dial indicator a few times in my life of building cars, and trucks, and have never owed one. Price was right, and I do have a buddy that owes this very one, and has been happy with it. Wish it would have come with a storage box, but for the price and I have some small metal boxes I can store it in. I will let everyone know how good it is when I get it.

I bought the earthquake because it is suppose to be rated for professional use, and battery inner change doesn't matter since it's at work. For home I'd get the bauer so I could interchange batteries. FYI, I have 4 of the small bauer batteries all together. One for each, drill, driver, radio and one spare. When drilling and screwing (LOL can't help but laugh at that), anyhow when drilling and screwing I can keep all 4 going all day long with just one spare battery since they charge so quickly. My batteries still hold a good charge even after a few years of use.
That's good information thanks. If I decide to dip into the battery world of tools I'll try that one. I'm still on the fence to get away from air tools. It would be nice to not have to get the compressor out at my farm or deal the compressor around the yard or have to pull whatever to the carport to be within 50ft of the compressor.

Got my dial indicator in today...it is pretty nice. It will do anything I need it to do. I had a hard gun case, which it is now a dial Indicator case...lol

Saw this one you can hook to an air compressor. Has anyone ever used this? I don't think it will work on my Mc because I have the flat black top on mine and it won't screw into it.
