Got the trans back in and done.
Firing it up occasionally, i would add fluid, then cycle the shifter thru each gear... initally, forward abd reverse worked, but were slow on applying. (Low fluid)

Then.... all gears were forward... i thought to myself WTF.

Then thinking on it, i guessed that the assembly grease i used to hold the checkballs in place probably had'nt freed up yet...

Got more fluid, added 4 more quarts, fired it up again, and after cycling the shifter some more, the checkball came free, and i had normal gears again... took it for a spin, all gears work, shifts nice and firm, im satisfied, i just added too much fluid and it pissed out the excess and coated the exhaust and rear end.

Now parked, drip drying while i wipe it down.

That’s really nice, I love well thought out mods. If not stock, the modifications make or break. You rocked it.

Thank you very much sir. That matters because the measurements was taken over and over and I was really hoping I didn’t screw this up.Information wasn’t the easiest to get as far as spacing between seats. It was gonna suck if it didn’t work.I could find no one else on the internet that had went with this complete setup.

I would start by getting it repainted. I’m guessing it gave up it’s will to live when they painted it yellow.

haha it's on the list. there's a special place in hell for people who rattle can square bodies yellow thats for sure.

at the same time gotta make sure its even worth repainting. still in early stages

Getting there. The fun part will be removing the rivets on the factory hangers lol. That will probably get started monday or tomorrow evening at the earliest.
