Any ideas on removing fender emblems without disassembling or damaging anything? Thanks

Yup, holes on the inside of the fender are plenty large enough to get the speed nuts off. I can't remember if you have to remove the fender though - mine were already off the truck when I pulled the emblems.

Can these be “popped off” without breaking them? They are in very good shape on an old junker that’s sunk up in the mud.

Trying to pry these off will damage the emblem, if your lucky will only break the small nipple that the speed nuts attach to, but if that happens all is not lost. My truck didn't have emblems when I bought it so got lucky and found a set on fleaBay but as mentioned above the little nipples were gone. So I removed what was left of the nipples with the dremel then covered the entire bottom of the emblem with double sided 3m foam tape and attached in the proper location. Over 10 years now and no problem with them.

Slip a hacksaw blade behind it and cut the nips off if you need to remove it from the outside only.

Possibly. One of mine came off with both studs, the other broke both.

Thanks for all the replies. If I can get by with just breaking the studs I’ll be happy. The 3M tape will take care of that.

so I can barely reach the backside of my emblem, how do those speednuts come off? Are they threaded? or pull them off with needlenose pliers? I can get to them, just still not sure how the best way to get them off the studs without damaging them. thanks,

Old junker sunk up in the mud, drill a hole near the emblem. Use a skill saw and cut the piece of fender around the emblem.

I call these "cutter nuts" as they get screwed on virgin plastic and "cut" their own threads. They only go on and back off once or twice before they wont come off or the plastic post "nipple" (stated above) breaks off. I HATE them!!! My s10 outside door handle attaches in this manner, i just replaced it yesterday.

If you are talking about the 79 in your profile it has the high mounted emblems which are metal.
On those you should be able to remove with the fender in place. Of course depending on the size of you hand.
