Oh and I don't know anything about the Ford 205. They might have had a 29 spline input?

Ive heard similiar stories. Would require a coupler for the spline differences. Or a divorced case

Took her for a spin tonight..... started in 2 high....

Did good, spins the tires, moves, etc.

Then hit 4 high, climbed a maybe 2.5 or MAYBE 3 foot (doubtful) 90° slop.... locker kicked in, drivers tire spun maybe 1/8th of a turn, grizzly kicked in, she pulled.

Climbed the hill... no prob, just needed some throttle.

Switched over to 4 low, i feel a little torque steer to the right.
pulled my drivers tire up to a stump, also about 2.5 feet tall, light throttle, it climbed right over.
Threw it in reverse, went back over it! Excellent!!!!

Looking forward to rhe uwharrie trip

Next up was the angle iron to raise the 4x4 shifter up a tad, then tacked it to the floor for trial..... worked fine on the first try.

Also had to shorten the shifter since it was gonna wack the AC vents and the center console.

Got the carpet back in, and at least my seat, and put the squarebody suburban's np208 cover on. I have a functional shifter!!
