I'm sure they are. I always keep original parts.
I hated mine since I bought the truck 10 years ago. When I decided to paint my truck and do what I want to it to make it mine. I saw how much they were going for and I threw them up on eBay in a second. I don't have a show truck and I never will. I'd rather take the money to off set what I wanted to do to it vs putting them in my shed to never see the light of day again. I was happy to see what they were worth.

I hear you.
My truck was all original. Still has its original paint, last year model, highly optioned...
I'm not sure if they will ever go back on but I have them if I ever want to go that way.

Man, I can remember the “new car smell” of my Dads 85 C10. (It was 2 years old but the newest car my parents had bought since I was born).
And what’s funny is I remember the “normal” smell of dads trucks , 74, 85 and 83, and pretty much every other square body I had or was in.
And the 86 we got smells the same! Not an odor per se, just what they smell like.

Dads old favorite dealer.

This use to be their truck center in the 70s. Dad and I spent many hours there just shooting the breeze with guys and looking at trucks, "designing" our favorites. Lol
Good times....
