Wires done , plugs too.

Did the PS 1st, fired it up to make sure there was no miss, then on to the DS

AC Delco R45TS, .045 gap.

Runs OK, so no problems other than number 6 wire never felt solid on the plug - no idea why, and I tried to match wire lengths but wound up with a longer than needed one for number 7.

Oh, well.

Old = Packard Delco - OE, maybe ?

As a bonus, I drove it around in 4wd on the street to lube things.

Heard a clunk presumably from the front driveshaft, and could move it up and down by hand.

Packed the crap out of it with the grease gun - for now, good enough as its not like it is in 4wd often at all.

Productive day, for the most part.

Was trying to get the brake lines undone from the T-block on the rear end. The rubber line literally blew up/exploded off the metal T-block while I was heating the nuts. I’d already partially rounded off one of them, so I said F-it, for $24, I’ll order new hard lines from LMC

You may want to check inline tube as well for the brake lines

I have never had success heating brake line fittings when there was a hose involved. No matter how careful I've been the hoses always blow off when I've used heat.

Not really on my square but on my square. Worked on my SB s-10 today, hooked up a 10" behind the seat sub with built in amp. For a cheapo it bangs pretty hard. I missed my subs. Took quite awhile to install, trying to route wire in from the battery and under the vinyl flooring and under the seat and then trying to run the wires under the seat to the stereo. The clearance between the seat and floor sucks! Had to run a coat hanger under the seat, tape the wires to it and pull it under the seat. Same with pulling 8g wire through the firewall. But im happy with it.

Thats about how i got my tires.
Unfortunately need 2 matching for the front... one is got a broken belt

First time I’ve ever had issues with brake lines. Didn’t know the rubber would blow off like that, my face was close! [emoji23]

Put some new seat covers in front today! I really like them! Sure brought some added life to the interior, going to get the matching one for the rear bench seat now. :drink_nl:

My 87 finally has cup holders. A buddy teamed up with an incredible custom upholster, and this is what they came up with. Had to put a couple holes in the bench’s frame, then it just bolts right in. Almost looks like it’s always been there

That's really nice, is said upholstery guy local? I have one of those holders that insert in the ashtray and hate it.
