group 95 battery - any trays able to accomodate?

i always build my own battery tray out of old bed frame angle steel pieces and some bolts.. about 20 minutes and can have a custom size battery tray made up and bolted in.. i make two trays in my trucks, and keep spare battery with always. have a battery isolator so alternator charges them separately.

Scrapping idea for now. THe battery held a charge, had good CCA, started truck when it was 20-30 degrees consistently with no evidence of being worn.

left two interior LEDs, like 9watts watts and fully charged battery, it made it about 10 hours and battery was flat, literally 0 in it. i could prob get one more charge out of it but if it cant power 9w for that long and have plenty to spare, its junk.

So my tray works for now

I believe that's the 73-80 tray. Looks like the bottom I just replaced in my 80. I just did the bottom. I cut it off the side and just bolted it back in to the side piece.

Where does the bottom part mount in? can i see your battery tray? I think I may have figured it out but im struggling to see the intimate parts of the 1973-1980 battery tray esp for RPO for HD battery
