Buttoned up a bunch of last minute odds and ends last night. Made trans lines, installed the aux battery tray, figured out the grounds from the battery, header gaskets/o2s/plugs/wires installed. Tuner comes tonight, hopefully she’ll fire with no issues [emoji1696][emoji1696]

Waiting for a neighbor to come back so I can get towed home - she just died on me. I smell fuel, but no start - I am gonna assume ignition module. Can they be tested ?

Some old solid but rusty and banged up headers ($25), a little banging, bead blasting inside and out and, Eastwoods 1800 degree ceramic paint (inside and out):

I have had them tested at Oreilly's before.

I may try that tomorrow. Got the new one in- fired right up. Oops, mild miss - vaccuum hose got disconnected.

Got it back on - no start.

****. Now sitting in the back of the driveway blocking all the vehicles.

If she starts tomorrow, I can move the vehicles. If not, she has to be pushed out of the way and be in the street.

****.

Wonder if there is an intermittent issue, or if something fried the new module, too.

Didn't mean to do this today but said WTF and went for it. Hood, fenders and cab all come off tomorrow.....and that half assed cobbled trailer hitch is getting the sawz-all / grinder treatment. Figured a way to store the bed, cab and other car in that closet of a garage, and still have room to set up a table to sort spares I'm unloading. Got a pile of parts at the powder coater and both axles at another shop. Even my shed is packed.

A truck takes up 1 space. A dismantled truck takes up 5 spaces.

Here are a few more.

Here is the original guard....I did not have the other one. So I made one from some scrap steel I had sitting around...

@78C10BigTen has had one in the back of his truck for like 2 years now. Might cut you a deal on it. Lol

Got about 70% of the wiring done tonight. Been putting this off forever and dreading it. Really wasn’t bad, I just had to stop looking at the whole picture and just focus on one circuit at a time
