I installed some new headlights that have white halogen 12V 60/55 watt replaceable bulbs. They have their own harness adapter that plugs in to the old headlight wiring plug.

Anyway, all works great, except for I noticed that when the low beams are on, that the two little blue high beam indicator dots light up on the dash. When I click back to high beam, the blue indicator lights go out.

This could just be a coinsidence that I'm noticing this after replacing the lights, as I don't normally drive this truck at night, and noticed it the other night when testing the new lights at night.

Any help would be appreciated.

what bex said. in my f150 it actually did this.. but its a 9007 or 9005 led where flipping the driver connector reversed the function of high beam switch, i dont recall what brand. one bulb with two chips, one lit=low, two = high. but thats a different beast than.. halogen h4?

Sounds like the harness adapter has the high and low wire switched.

That’s my guess as well. Use a test light to check for power on the light green wire with the high beams on. If there is power on the green wire, but not the tan, and the low beam headlights are on, then the wires are switched in the harness

Made in china no doubt.
Taiwan. That's a little better than China, but not much.
