In 1991 a dealship here in kansas took delivery of what was said to be the last GMC Jimmy Built before going to the new body style they used the truck and after 18000 miles sold it to the first owner. I remember the hoopla around the Jimmy back then as my bother was a used car salesman back then fast forward to today bought the truck off craigslist it was cheap and rough but reminded me of that Jimmy. Looked at it bought it after buying the Jimmy the seller gave me paper work and stated it was the last one of that style built. Im not looking to sell but would like to prove or disprove the story on it. But cant seem to find anything online as far as production dates and numbers on 1991 GMCs any help would be a great help. And will post the findings when i get all the facts

The GM Heritage Center might be able to help you out if you write them. Also @Keith Seymore might know who to reach out to or where this info might be. He was up at Flint Assembly during the square body years, but I want to say he was doing GMT400 stuff when your Jimmy was born. Can’t remember, sorry Mr. Keith.

Do you have a plaque or certificate for it? Is yours from Flint? I had assumed that all GM MPV production happened in Flint, especially at the end there, and if that’s the case, you only have one plant’s info to sort through. I would like to know where all the R/V Crew Cabs were being made if anyone knows that. I’m assuming Flint and Janesville?

Interested to know myself, because I own a 91 k5.
(not that I think it's the last, just would be cool to learn the production number)

It's a flint truck.

Look at the VIN sticker on the drivers door, there will be a month / year of production. Keep in mind that the model year runs from September to August.

Someone checked my VIN a couple of years ago and mine was assembled 08/14/1991. Mine isn’t the last Blazer but the paint was probably still curing while the last one was being assembled. lol

Sheeeet.
I got all the original documentation from when it was sold in NC.

As for that sticker?
They're long gone.
Got doors from A crew cab on her.

I hear ya. It wasn’t until after I’d hacked mine up that I found out it was a super late production.

The 91 I'm referring to is the mutilated truck I call k5ton with the 5 ton rockwells and 502 ci in it.

It's all hacked. Lol
But Its got an interesting history.
