Hey folks, Joined here for some help on one of my upcoming builds. Long time looker and first time poster!

I see lots of great info with lots of smart folk, Not sure if I missed what I was looking for and someone can point me in the right direction with a few links? Anyways..

1975 Chevy 2500, Sadly lost her 400 before I took ownership. 350 with the usual bolt ons. Shes a solid survivor and I have the intentions of breathing some new life into her.

I have a 700r4 that I had built years ago for an 86 with the 6.2 diesel that has basically zero km's on it.
+ I have a 208( not 205 [emoji1781]) tcase that is also in great condition just laying around.

I realize the torque converter, driveline length and crossmember will need to be replaced / modified. I'm also guessing that the shifter will need some work as well?

Im sure theres a few similar builds or individuals with experience.

Edit- my ******* wrote down 205 for some reason n just clued in

Thanks!

( also realize its a introduction thread not a technical one. Feel free to move )

Welcome to the forum!
My truck was built in Toronto and lived in BC for a bunch of years before it came to Oregon.

Welcome Aaron, thanks for joining. We need more racists here for sure. Remember our great leader says we're all racist eh?

Your better off with the 350 than the 400.
Hopefully you have 27 spline NP 205. And you'll need the correct adapter and long shaft.
You can get all info straight up from Off Road Designs if you don't already know this.
If you want larger tires you'll need to gear down a lot. Don't push snow or tow with the 700. And run a big ass cooler on it.

how far north are you?

Ok you're 208 will be fine. Can't make it into twin shift though.

Yeah you're north! Should be safe from the zombies up there.
I wonder if we have anyone from Alaska..?
You could be the most northerly member...
Again, welcome on board..
