Does anyone have a part number or vender that has an OEM 454cid factory style upper hose? All of the hoses listed on sites like RA and alike have a molded hose with the same end dimensions. 1.25".

My OEM Radiator has a larger Inlet than 1.25". The 1.25" dia fits the Thermostat housing but not the Radiator inlet. (Help) !

Is this the original radiator to the truck you referenced or a swap?

Ok, just being clear that it wasn’t like my blazer - factory radiator but from a different truck.

I have a factory 4 row 6.2 diesel radiator hooked to a 454, I had to have a radiator shop change the upper hose neck to fit the gas motor hose.

I used a Napa NBH 8365. Their picture looks the same as Gates and has the same dimensions. Here's the radiator in my '85 for reference.

i own a 91 R2500 Suburban 454 , replaced it with a alum rad with 2 elect fans. the upper rad hose has been replaced with something close but not the right fit. the hose took off at a 45 deg. to connect with the neck on the motor. i wanted the hose to fit close to the rad so i purchased a 90 deg. neoprene elbow then cut the long end shorter to make it fit close, add a aluminium straight connector for the first turn, then the Napa rad hose 90 deg. was cut off to the length needed to make the 2nd 90 deg line-up straight towards the motor. this also allowed me to clock the hose into the angle. my hose had 2 90's along with a 20 to 45 deg drop from top of rad to motor. if you dont have the right hose you can make a better fitting one.
