Just curious, but how can you tell he has a sniper from just a picture with no words?Welcome to GMSB from NC!!!
What sort of iginiton are you running in junction with the holley sniper?
I'm interested to know because I'm running holley efi on my 502, and considering an iginiton box as well.

I'm all in with Holley... My EFI unit came with a coil driver but I went with their new CD box, coil and hyperspark distributor. I think it was MSD had a hand in with Holley making this setup. The real benefit, it's all plug and play with no installation surprises , no RF noise ... It all talks with EFI, full adjustment w/o going under hood, etc...
It really added a sense of refinement to the EFI IMO. Like when I dumped the 4 bbl carb in favor and loaded base tune... Wow! No buyers remorse. Now with this, again. So far so good. Not to say I didn't have any issues with Holley, they swapped my complete unit once outside of warranty... Long story. But knowing what buddy went thru with Fitec with non existing customer service , I'd say I was happy I went with Holley.
502! Haven't actually seen one since my dad's 78 Caddy Elderado FWD! Rare bird, even crates around my parts.
That's what I was more interested in, as i'm nearing getting my 502 fired up with the holley sniper, if I got a ignition system, would it talk with the efi.
Correct. And it really does and wiring is clean plug and play. I went all chips in. You'll notice how refined an old school engine can be.
my truck idles 600RPM, I'm happy
