Questions for guys that completed the disk brake conversion on the 14 bolt....

Slid the rebuilt 14 bolt under 84’ k20,in place of semi float 14 bolt.Using a master cylinder from 80’ model corvette.

1.Should I replace the front proportioning valve with a unit from the same corvette?

2.What to do with the load leveling valve that was attached to metric 14 bolt?

3.If someone had deleted the height load valve in their pickup, would you mind posting a pic or 2,please?

4.Lastly,any other suggestions on parts or advice that worked for your disk brake conversion?

Thanks guys.

No pics but on my old 91 crew cab I bypassed the load sensing valve in the back. Just ID the inlet and outlet brake lines, connect your axles brake hose to the tube that was going to the inlet side of the valve.

Here's what I did on my K30. I just pulled the OEM hose out from the frame and connected through the stock bracket.

I didn't have a hight sensing valve, but im running the stock prop valve. Its fine in normal day to day, but in a panic stop, without allot of traction, my rears lock up first. I plan on getting rid of the valve, t-ing the front, and putting an adjustable valve to the rear. Just havnt got to it yet.
