still working on mine here and there. Trying to decide if I want to put some angled up speakers in the speaker holes or just fill them in. Be a good spot for tweeters if anything.
Got plenty of time, I'll research good speaker dimensions/specs to see if anything good can be made to fit. I did think about putting a small display in the center speaker hole for a back up camera. Be nice if it was flip up.....a permanent display might invite theft.

So I blocked off a few edge cracks as well as the transition from the cluster. Few more minor spots (not including the transition lol) and those will be taken care of. The transition will probably take more elbow grease. Because it's got a corner I'll have to eventually start hand sanding.

Just to give you guys an idea how long this takes:
10 minutes - Clean area with acetone, mix epoxy, and spread/pour
10 minutes - if you have to dam up with putty/play-doh
20 Minutes - sand (orbital sander) all the spots in the previous post pictures
I do give it 24 hours to dry, so it's best to do as much as you can in one cycle.

That's for the great thread, my dash came out great, after primer and vinal paint it looked a little flashy , I hit it with this textured paint it came out amazing, I'll snap another shot installed once I get home

2 more pics, they didn't upload, foam and fiber glass filler before the bondo, it looks great thanks guys, I'm gonna dril holes in sheet metal, and paint for the the speaker and center cover

I would try to cover the entire thing with the Bondo fiberglass product, a 6-in drywall knife It's your Best shot, the textured paint I used hides a lot mine was nowhere near perfect before primer

I just picked up the November issue of Hot Rod magazine, there's an article in it about repairing the plastic dash of a GMT400. They ended up flocking the dash, which it think is a great idea and an alternative to using textured paint.

The materials that I used were:
Canned spray foam
Hardware store mesh
TotalBoat’s FlexEpox (flexible epoxy) after seeing Camar068’s post
Upol 7061 Flexible High Density Body Filler (Flexible Bumper Filler)
Upol Raptor liner
I pulled this dash out of a Suburban parts rig that I bought a while back. Pretty typical cracked dash, not as bad as some that I have seen.
Since this dash is going into a C30 dually that I am going to sell (I really don’t need two of them) I decided just to do away with the speaker cut outs. I also V-grooved out the various cracks
