I'm in Washington state, so technically Amazon is a brick and mortar store for me. I get to pay state sales tax, and everything lol. But yeah, they're pretty quick on most the things I order. I did notice that they are showing the shocks will be delivered on Monday. That's not two days, but also not 3 weeks

During all this mess I have almost quit buying anything I actually need in a timely manner from Amazon. Auto parts are three weeks out. I was doing my wife's AC on the Sequoia, I had the condenser and compressor but wanted to replace the belt. I looked up a gates off Amazon. Yep three weeks. Went to rock Auto and they had it as well. Basically the exact same price there, but they delivered it in three days instead of the three weeks Amazon was saying.

I guess it just depends. I had the reverse happen this week. Amazon could have all the parts to me by Monday, but Rock Auto was over a month out on some of it. LMC has annoyed me over the past few months, with all the parts I've been ordering. Sometimes they get right to me. Other times (even though it says in stock, and is a small easy to ship item), it'll take forever. Part of it may have to do with them using FedEx to ship some things. I've grown to loathe FedEx. You can't count on their shipping times. Things get delayed and lost. The whole handoff to the local post office is a joke.

Oh this was not just that belt. I wanted some valve cover gaskets, brake hoses, you name it, three weeks. Even taking 2-3 weeks for some seam sealer I bought and some toys we have bought along the way for my son.

It's better in the last say 2 weeks. It honestly is down to 1-2 weeks till an order arrives. Still crazy. They can't be 1-2 weeks behind processing orders. Cause that's the delay. It's not shipping. Once they get it to the shipping company they use it's here in the 2-3 day mark.

It seems us rural customers are being forgot about. From what I have heard folks in cities are having little delay. My buddy I think had stuff at worst a day or two behind the 2 day period. Heck I get that at any normal time usually. And I say I am rural, I am. But I am not like Dakota's, or Montana rural!! I'm three hours from Charlotte, Three hours From Atlanta, three hours from Charleston, an hour from Augusta, hour and a half from Greenville and Columbia. ALL of these cities have Amazon warehouses that stock some portion of their merchandise (certain facilities will focus on certain things like clothes, house wares or auto parts I have noticed. That's not all they will have but they will have more of one type category than others it seems). And the huge cities are major shipping and airline hubs for delivery.

Yeah, it's all kinda silly. They decided to push items they deem as "essential" to the front of the cue, and others they don't think are essential can wait. So if you want a ******* mask, they'll get it to you quick. But if you want a belt for your broken down vehicle, so a guy can fix his wife's car that's an ER nurse, they'll get to it when they get to it.

That said, I have noticed that they'll give you an estimated arrival date that's way out there, only to then shorten it and deliver it earlier than that

Rear shocks came in early, so I put them on. Fronts should be here tomorrow (so it says). They definitely look more clean. I'll have to do the test drive tomorrow

Yea I couldn't believe the difference in ride quality when I put new shocks on mine to replace 20 year old plain parts store factory ride height shocks on my 2-3" lifted k10.
