I doubt that’s going to help it then. We had a guy who would buy it for his wave runners and snowmobiles but stopped because they didn’t run right on them. Slow revving, not getting full rpm, stuff like that.

Swapped in 3/4 Ton rear springs and installed OEM cab lights this weekend.


Also got my AC front and rear blowing cold AC out a couple weeks ago .

I want a burb so bad lol....I'd go through the LS swap from scratch again even lol. God help me if I find one when I've got the money for it....wife will prolly shoot me....and I aint shitting ya lol.

Prices... Down and over? From you have went full retard on burbs.... I'm not gonna say my truck is some sort of collectors item, because I'm not "that guy"

But a fully optioned (that is with power everything, 3rd row seat, rear and front heat and AC, towing kit, etc etc), the high output 350 and the very very minimal rust it has, mine probably would go for 7-10k or more in this area.

The burbs I find now on CL are either rust buckets that don't run for 3-5k

Or immaculate, spot free trucks for 10-18k.

Not that I ever plan on selling this one... I'll be buried in it.

The sentimental value is beyond everyone's budget.

I finally returned to my big k5 project After... 8 months?

Took off that stupid sbc brackets and kwik performance adapters, and put REAL bbc pulleys and brackets on my 502.

Did that, and setup battery cables and ground wires. Started to setup the fuel tank and fuel lines, as well as coolant lines, but I was pretty hungry by that point and went and picked up some italian food.... I'm getting back on it tonight!

My oldest grandson called Tuesday evening said his truck was leaking antifreeze and couldn't tell from where. Told him to bring it over in the morning, we'll see. He got here, we pressure tested it and found a leak on the lower pass side at the ATF cooler fitting. Took it out, cleaned it up and took it down to John. John is an old guy(not as old as me) that has a one man body shop here in town, been here for 35 years or so. Any way tell him to fix it and call me, this was about 1:30 afternoon. Called me back at 4:30, said come and get it! Went down, picked it up and asked "how much". John says I'll give you the "good guy price".....$20!!!!!! He tells me that I always gave him "good guy prices" when I did things for him at my shop. I gave him $40, would've paid more somewhere else!! He said this radiator is in good shape, it's a big 4 core and it was easy to work on. Will get it back in today and hope for the best!!

Yesterday I finished up the little bit of electrical I had to get power to my k5, tossed the marine battery in I've been saving, I achieved my goals I set for yesterday, I wanted to get power to the efi, headlights /taillights and be able to turn the motor over with the key....

I achieved all of that yesterday!

Next up is to order all the necessary stuff for fuel delivery, an idler pulley, a belt, weld the exhaust, get the coolant hose situation correct, and I think I can fire her up...

Did you scale it to see how much it weighed? I took a load of clean "chips" piled similar to that first pic home, BUT in my 2012 Silverado 1/2 ton short box and when I went across the scale there was 2,100lbs in the back of the truck. The overload bumpstops were just kissing the axle, might have been juuuuust a bit much. Lol I'd be curious to know just how much the old girl of yours had in it!
