I got new latch kits for my vent windows. I can't seem to get the latch to stay on. The roll pin is not holding it on in the groove like it should. It's as if the roll pin hole wasn't made close enough to catch on the piece it mounts to. Do I need to drill out the hole and put in a bigger roll pin so it will catch? Got the parts from 1Aauto. Had them send a second set after I couldn't get the first set too work and the second set is the same way. Am I missing something here or are these parts just not up to specs?

As soon as I post a question things magically start working. The replacement set for some reason held with no problem. Don't know what was different with the first set.

From your picture, the roll pin hole is drilled to far away from the center. (Too close to the bottom of the handle)

Glad you got a better second set.
