I have a 1990 Suburban with a electric speedometer. When I start the sub speedo pegs then goes to 68 and stays there. Any ideas?

Probably worth starting at the buffer box and see if false signal comes from there or is in the spedo it self

I had that issue with my 90.

Exact same thing.

Occasionally acted up as time went on, I can start by telling you, replacing the VSS didn't make anything magical happen, neither did swapping the DRAC module under the radio with one that matched tire size and gear ratio (or pinout)

I believe its a speedo issue.
As far as what, I never dug that deep.
What I did discover however is once I "jiggled" the plug, the issue showed up alot less..
Either terminals at the speedo are the issue, or the speedo itself.
