I used my POS to pull my ex-stepdads focus out of his yard. Next to a bush and super skinny driveway.

It was so sunk I had to improvise a spot to hook to.

I decided that today was going to be "transmission day" for the rusty Burb. It's been a long time coming.

Rear drums were stuck, had to yank it out from it's resting place, then winched it over to the garage.

It's actually happening, lol.

TH400 (rebuilt) is finally stabbed.

At this point, the install is nearly complete. All that's left is to bolt the front shaft to the front yoke, hook up the shift cable, run new cooler lines, then fill with fluid. It started raining this evening though.

I put a battery charger on mine! Thinking good thoughts now and hope the mice didn’t chew the **** out of the 3 wires that haven’t been hacked up by previous owners.

Had the lights on in the rain, noticed the turn indicator was half glowing. Two stops later and with the lights left on the whole time like @78C10BigTen likes it there were replacement bulbs. Happened to have some on hand.

It's a rotted out pile that runs on 6.5 cylinders and smokes a bunch, but by golly she's mobile again!

I've got the new trans fully installed now, other than the lack of a kickdown switch.

While the hood was open thought might as well start cleaning.

Lol, understandable. Yesterday's activities had me incredibly sore today. Advil and alcohol helped take care of it some.

Got the truck in the air to start tearing the front end down for the rebuild. Didn’t get very far, but got a few things busted loose and soaked it all down with PB blaster. Hoping to get it all torn down and mostly reinstalled tomorrow.

I topped off the fluids this morning, turns out, the np208 I put in leaks because the case is cracked. Oh well, at least the truck can drive around now. I took it for a spin around the backyard, 4 wheel drive works at least. Wife wants the good wheels and tires back on it now.

I'm back up to 3 squares that run and drive now, lol.
