Home built wood engine stand?

I used old creeper wheels on one end and that doesn't work real good, need better clearances. This is a good base, just need to find your own wheels for mobility. exactly. they might be $25 on amazon still. FYI, the one for an SBC 350 will work for a 5.3 LS, just had to flip the mounts I got from dirty dingo. See crappy quality video below.

Yeah, those are pretty nice, I have a couple of them. The wooden ones I made were cheaper!!

most do dirty dingo or tejas steelworks. Tejas good for clearance for the ac compressor low and the frame. But shifts the everything forward. I went dirty dingo cuz less work modding.

Here is a USA manufactured universal engine stand. Not meant for the weight my Mercruiser 330 HP, Chevy 454, inboards. It did the trick though to rebuild both my 34' Sedan Bridge. The starboard (right side of boat) engine runs clockwise. While the Post (Left side of boat) engine runs counter clockwise. The main difference in the two engines is the cam shaft and and distributor gear. The cam shafts run in opposite directions. Though the distributors both run clockwise. Each engine has a different firing order. 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

I did make up a test stand out of some 2”X12” left over from my garage builds. I am lowering it with my bridge crane onto the homemade test run stand..
