Transfer case question

One down from N. I don't even see if lines up with the plate. I just find N then pull it down one click to 2H. In this position you can grab the front drive shaft and spin it when front wheels are unlocked. One more click down will put you in 4H. You can pull it in 4H while on the fly. Every once in awhile I will lock the hubs and leave it in 2H and this will lube the transfer case.
My average MPG is 13-15. Towing or not.

Not sure what you meant? What I was asking Nine was is his shifter in hi position or in N. Mine is in N which apparently isn't right.

I quoted wrongly

Mine is in 2H in the photo. If your transfer case is in N you would not be going anywhere. If your transfer case is the same as mine, H=2H, HLOC=4H, L=2L and LLOC=4L. H is for highway driving. L is for rock crawling or pulling someone out of a ditch.
