Did the squares ever come factory with a ceiling sunroof or sound system?

Yes they’re around. They spam me with emails on sales they have lol I’ve never bought a thing from them lol

That's because you're old and still remember them...

You probably did a search for something and hit on a sister site, they've got your email anyway.

Bought a set of Flowtech headers from them about 3 months ago. Had a couple coupons and grouped them and then added what they offered. Ended up at $135 and change. I also have an old catalog from 1974? from JC Whitney and also a Warshawsky catalog same era. The JC Whitney book lists used as well as new parts and pieces.

Bucket seats were available in C/K trucks. I think it was part of an option package... maybe. Mine came with factory buckets. I would be interested in the bucket brackets if you don't want them.

Edit: the inside front brackets (next to the console) are spot welded to the floor.
So two questions for you
1) Are you unable to find these brackets? If so I could, at the very least, pull the seats and find dimensions/pics for you. Otherwise Id be willing to sell them, the seats are shot.. not much value in them or keeping them or their brackets.

2) So the consoles were a thing? Are they of any value? I still have one. It sits in my shed dusty. I thought it was homeade.(Possibly is), what is yours look like?

I'm thinking the sunroof may be an aftermarket deal. Those were big sales for audio and glass shops back in the day. Typical style too, just props open a few inches. They just let water in lol.

Buckets and may be something from a K5 someone swapped over.

Overhead console may be from a custom Suburban or Van. Those had overhead consoles generally added from the builders. Roof contour lines are pretty close so they are easily adapatable.

Sounds like a tricked out truck for its time period.

Got any pics? It would be cool to see this stuff.
If you head over to my posting on Tech Discussion(not sure if im allowed to link discussion threads of my own creation), you can see a bunch of pics from this truck. Turns out its a 78 camper special with a hole lot of tricks.

The seats are rather desirable actually. They are easy to get covers for and are correct for '77-'85 K5 Blazers as well. The tracks and brackets for those seats to install in a pickup are actually very desirable. In the grand scheme of truck production, there weren't very many made at all.

Links are perfectly fine, even if it leads to another truck forum :)

I would be willing to purchase the brackets and mounts from the floor(pass. side) and seat track (dr. side) and the seat frames. As @bucket stated they are desirable. I prefer buckets and console over a bench seat.

As far as the console the factory console for the 76-80 and up look like this..

73-75 had slots where the cup holders are to hold the seat buckle. 81 and up were slight different as well. but all were pretty much the same shape. Yes consoles are desirable as well.
