I wonder what it would look like if you replaced the nose with a Camaro nose?

I got a homeboy named Chuck that has a 1977 ElCamino with a Chevelle S3 Laguna nose on it.

Hope this helps!

I've had several ideas for the car pop up in my head since I first became aware of it. An economical cruiser is probably what I would go for. A basic 350 with Vortec heads and probably even TBI. I've had an extra T5 trans kicking around for a long time that would be fun, but I'd probably break it even with a mild 350.

Nosir! That's a SS!

And means BBC! :patriot: :rockit:

Well hot damn, I've got the wife on board, lol. Being tax time, I might can get the car bought, but we'll have to see how it goes. I'm not sure how long until the tax check comes, but that's fine because like I said before, I want to get a better look at the car, specifically the underside.

I also recently sold my trailer, so I need to get the new-to-me trailer deal finalized as well before I go buying something that needs hauled.

The fat lady ain't sang just yet, lol. My luck, someone will swoop in and buy it before I've had the chance, despite the fact it's been sitting there for a year or two.

I hope you can get your hands on it, however...if it turns out that you don't and it's still there, I'd appreciate the location and some contact info on the owner as my trailer is already hooked up and the truck is idling in the driveway..Seriously, I would not allow that car to get away as it's indeed rare and unique..

I'm well aware of the 73 Chevelle SS, and the Laguna S3, but I never knew they made an SS Wagon. I also didn't know there was a 69 Chevelle SS post Coupe available with a big block. Was the only year SS post was available in the Chevelle.

Back in the day, the next door neighbor woman had a 73 Laguna S3 with low low miles, in the 30s, but looking back, it seems kind of odd considering I still see cars with 30,000 miles that are 50 years old. At the time that S3 was less than 10 years old. White w red bottom and swivel buckets.

Also back in the early 80s, the local Chevy dealer got in a really clean silver + red Monte Carlo with a 454, it was 10 years old with 45,000 Miles, by the time I got there Monday morning, and it already been sold them on the salesman. Big blocks were pretty rare in Monte Carlos, and I really prefer swivel buckets and loaded with options. Many Monte Carlos through all the generations were made as fancy bodyed strippers with a bench and roll down windows and no AC. And those big block were always gas guzzlers, even the late 80s tbi's

Sometime in the 80s, I stumbled across a 73 Chevelle SS with a big block and a factory 4-speed with buckets and console. I wonder where that thing ended up?

All of the above was in the greater West End of Montreal, where I grew up

I love wagons and if you love interesting crannies of rust/water pockets, obscure trim, and unobtainium body panels then maybe a wagon is for you as well. :happy160:

Boy if that ain't the truth! As if Suburbans and Celebrity wagons aren't difficult enough, I'm trying to throw this car into the mix as well. I've been looking to see what kind of parts are available and as expected, there's not much. I haven't even found weatherstripping yet.

Pretty Cool, I had a 1974 plain Jane fun wagon until the struts wouldn't hold up the tail gate. what a pain. but mine had a 400 small block. lots of power for a de-tuned wagon. double check and see if it's a small block 400. Y
