I have an absolutely stock numbers matching 74 C10. I’ve replaced the radiator and she got new paint at the end of the summer. It was a desert truck so rust was minimal. The 454 4 barrel was rebuilt and shows 37000 miles. My conundrum is do I leave it stock or customize it to improve comfort?

Leave 100% stock would be my choice on that truck :)

Keep it stock. Is that a new hood? Looks like a 78 or 79.

My '77 C10 - lots of original paint on this one. Still earns its keep from time to time.

Not checked if it is numbers matching, but still runs all its original California smog gear, so hasn't been messed with much, if at all. Mileage unknown but runs well.

Man, that's a cool truck. That's one you keep just as it is and keep it maintained. :love62:

There's some super nice original trucks here. It's really making me wish I kept my old '86 Suburban. No rust, 90% original paint and a clean interior.

By far the best 80's paint scheme

As far as I know it’s an original hood. It had the horrible bleaching of the paint and edges as the roof. Also, the wear from sand blowing over the edges.
